Gift Cards

1. Purchase and Activation

• Availability: Gift cards are available for purchase via WhatsApp and our Online store.

• Denominations: Cards can be loaded with any value between $5 and $100.

• Activation: Cards are activated immediately upon payment. Please retain your purchase receipt as proof of activation.

• Digital Convenience: For instant gifting, our E-Gift Cards send a unique PDF code straight to their phone. If you’d rather give them something to unwrap, we’re happy to craft a physical card for a small fee.

2. Redemption

• Usage: Gift cards can be used to purchase any item in stock.

• Partial Balance: If a purchase is less than the card value, the remaining balance stays on the card for future use.

• Excess Balance: If a purchase exceeds the card value, the difference must be paid via our other payment methods.

3. Expiry and Fees

• Validity: To encourage reading, our gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

• No Fees: We do not charge "inactivity fees" or maintenance fees. The value you put on the card is the value the recipient gets.

4. Returns and Refunds

• Non-Refundable: Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded once purchased.

• Book Returns: If a book purchased with a gift card is returned (subject to our Return Policy), the refund will be issued back onto a gift card, not as cash.

5. Lost or Stolen Cards

• Liability: Please treat your gift card like cash. PassionReads is not responsible for lost or stolen cards.

• Recovery: If you have the original receipt and the card has not been used, contact us immediately and we will do our best to "lock" the old card and issue a replacement.
